I escaped the house for 45 minutes today, so a quick blip while waiting at the crosswalk on NE Broadway.

It's been a long day but much was accomplished. The mold/moisture inspector said we were all good, nothing detected and all within normal range - he was impressed with the demo work we'd done and said we'd left him nothing to do. Then the insurance guy came to do the property loss inspection, he was here for two hours and left us with a check. And while he was here the furnace technicians came and confirmed that the system had been undamaged by the "event" as they called it. They were all full of funny stories and everyone was great to deal with. So things are moving in the right direction quite quickly seeing as the flood was only on Wednesday evening, feels like weeks ago. Hopefully this momentum will continue.

Very tired. It's Labor Day weekend but I won't be getting much rest. A trip to the dump is in store for all the water damaged materials and then that deck still needs staining...
