The biggest test

Driving 210km from Dray Sap to Nha Trang with the busiest roads, longest distance and a breakdown was our biggest test on the bike yet, but we made it. Taking in more scenery through the mountain passes we managed to ride over a nail. Slowly we noticed the back of the bike was a bit more skittish on the tight hair pin bends, but that didnt really slow us down as we thought it was the wet roads from the rain. But after a quick pit stop we set off again and realised we had a puncture. The slow puncture which caused the drop in handling had now deflated the whole tyre. Our guide aka "the hero" free wheeled the bike down hill in the middle of nowhere to find a Vietnamese version of Kwikfit, otherwise a shack in a rice field that happened to have another inner tube. 45 minutes later we were back on the road. Soon the roads become more busy with articulated trucks, buses, vans, cranes and other vehicles which made driving more fun and dangerous. The horn was used a lot. On the way we stopped at a rubber plantation, brick factory and some amazing local restaurants.

Mission complete no casualties.
