Shapes and shadows, light and dark.......

The day was spent gardening so the blip had to be from here. Lacking in inspiration I wandered around the garden before I started tackling a very large herbaceous bed. The sun was just striking some of the grasses and with the hazel coppice behind I decided this was the blip of the day. I love the strong contrast of the grass and trees. I noticed that later in the day the hazel was much lighter and the grass looked washed out - so I was in the right place at the right time!
