Upper Calder Valley

This view is of Springside, between Todmorden and Hebden Bridge as seen from Mankinholes Tops.
At this point the main Manchester - Leeds railway line, the A646 trunk road, the River Calder and the Rochdale Canal all squeeze together to get into the valley bottom.
If you view 'L'arge you can clearly see the Rochdale Canal on the right, and centre left you will get a glimpse of a section on the A646.
Between the two is the River Calder - but you will just have to believe me 'cos the pesky trees are obscuring it - as they are the railway line which is on the far left.
Trees, trees, trees - they often help blippers in the composition of a blip - but sometimes.... :-)
