Little Miss Brave

Today was just the way a Saturday should be: fun, food and friends. My cousin and family came over for lunch, and little Jasmine made a beeline for the vivarium to say hello to Raoul our beautiful corn snake. She was a bit timid the first time she saw him a few months ago - she's only five - but this time she was determined to be a human climbing frame for a lively snake.

Very quickly she was reptile-bejewelled, with snake necklace and bracelet wound around her. Raoul seemed to enjoy himself and Jasmine was thrilled to be brave enough to let him explore her shoulders, arms and hair. I know plenty of adults who wouldn't be half as courageous!
