Ordinary...

After yesterday's drive, a quiet day was in order, identifying specimens, processing and key-wording photographs and doing pile after pile of washing - not to mention baking a loaf of walnut bread, made with some left-over porter and a glug of maple syrup! This afternoon I needed to stretch my legs, so took Rosie to Ring Haw. It's a lovely site, but after the excitement of the last few days, when I saw so many interesting species, including a number I'd never seen before, everything seemed rather drab and ordinary. This green-veined white was making the most of the last of the marjoram flowers.
