For the hand of the beautiful maiden

We had a great time today,  in spite of the plentiful rain.  We saw the attack on the city of Nijmegen in 1473,  saw knights fight for the hand of a beautiful maiden,  saw four knights on horse in a medieval fight witnessed by royalty,  listened to medieval music in a real medieval chapel and we saw loads of tents,  food being prepared,  a smith, other craftsmen and women.  

Another day like that to be had tomorrow.  Hoping for less rain though.
