Bridge of Orchy

Left London Friday lunchtime for our overnight stop in Carlisle. The journey took six and a half hours as there were constant delays until we reached the junction for Liverpool and then the traffic eased considerably. Saturday morning we headed off again for the final leg of our journey to Fort William. After passing through Glasgow, we took the A82 through Loch Lomond, continuing up and over the mountains to Glencoe. The scenery was spectacular and we stopped a few times along the way to take photos. This photo was taken just outside Bridge of Orchy.

Arrived at our apartment on the Achnacarry Castle Estate around 16:00 hours, unpacked and went for a walk to stretch our legs after the long drive.
