Downpour

Labor Day Weekend is always a problem. I hate to throw myself into the vacationing crowds, but staying home is always a bit of a letdown. Hardly anyone seems to be home and the lack of bustle and hustle is disconcerting. Add to that threatening weather. We were going for some last of the season blueberry picking but the farmer closed early due to rain and wind. We then waited for an opening to go down to the art show in the park block, but as soon as we got close, the rain poured down. We waited under the overpass and watched. It stopped and we went on to the art.
