Smokin' Labra-coos

Met these West Lothian lovelies at Riccarton Farm in the hills above Linlithgow.

In contrast to yesterday I had a bit of time so I enjoyed the process of immersing myself in the subject - getting a feel for the noise & smells of the cow shed and gaining their trust in order to finally get the mandated macro shot (up one of their nostrils as it happens).

In the end they reminded me a lot of big ol' friendly dogs. Maybe the farmers been breeding the first Labra-coos. Who knows?
