Game Day

Today I went to watch the Oregon Ducks football game in Eugene. The game itself was great, but the best part was meeting up with my cousin Chuck and his family. It's been far too long since we've seen each other - 23 years, actually. When I was a kid, Chuck taught me many important things about being a sports fan. Team loyalty (Yankees or die), the importance of knowing stats about favorite players, respect for the game, always having fun and lots more. Without him even knowing it, Chuck shaped my young mind in ways for which I'll always be grateful.
