Rough Tree Fern frond uncurling.

This is a magnificent tree fern with the large frond slowly opening.
The Latin name is Cyathea australis which grow as natives in Australia and New Zealand.Grow well in Queensland,New South Wales,Victoria and Tasmania.This is in our front garden,and this species grows to a height of over 20 feet.Which will take many many years.
