If you haven't seen it yet, please look at this:

snowstorm

it's one of the best shots I've taken in a while.

Today I participated in a study that examined my tone and inflection when reading a sentence in German following a few introductory sentences. It was snowing at the time and continued to snow all day. After the study, I went to Webster's Bookstore and Cafe and bought the collection "Stories of Three Decades" by Thomas Mann. It was translated to English by H.T. Lowe Porter, published in 1936, printed on paper produced by P.H. Glatfelter in Spring Grove, PA (the smell of the paper mill is etched in my childhood memory from visits to my grandparents' house in McSherrystown, PA), in Janson typeface, which was ...not created by printer Anton Janson but by a Hungarian named Miklós Kis in 1685. I then went to Saints Cafe and read Mann's Tristan, which was very good. Kayte came and we chatted about life and where we're going.

Graphic design, more reading, sleep.
