Red Squirrel

As we headed back home we stopped off in Lockerbie to visit the memorial garden and also to take a trip into the nature reserve where we had been told you could find Red Squirrels. Had to sit about for quite a while but my patience was rewarded when this little guy came up to see what I was doing.

Never realised just how small and fast they are. This was the only decent shot I managed to get before he scarpered off into the woods again.
