Wild flowers

In early summer I picked up a bottle of wild flower seeds which was on sale and scattered them in a border.

I thought they would come to nothing as the birds seemed to enjoy the feast. But slowly the little plants appeared and in the last month they have been lovely.

They certainty have encouraged bees and butterflies along with other plants I've put in the year.

For the first time in years I've spotted 3 types if butterflies.
