"There's your picture, hanging on the wall"
Today I took Vicci sightseeing around Dublin and the one thing that really struck me was how expensive it was into all the tourist attractions. You had to pay into everything. One museum was charging 12euro! Robbery. But the national photography archive is free in and always has the most interesting exhibitions. It would seem that the free activities in Ireland are better than the ones that charge you a small fortune. All the free museums in the city are much better than the ticketed ones. This exhibition was of the people and places of Limerick in the 1970's. The photos themselves were stunning but the printing process was also really interesting and gave the photos a very three dimensional feel which brought life in to the images. It really was a super exhibition. Made me think that one day I would love to do something like that with my photos.
