17 days to go

I have done virtually nothing in my garden this year - too much happening elsewhere. But this afternoon the YES Saltire I put up last week was , after a bit of adjustment during a very windy week, flying properly by the old ruin above our pond where the the leaves of the water lilies are already turning brown.

Officially autumn starts tomorrow and some of the trees are colouring already probably because of the cold weather in the second half of August.

None the less I am sure the sun will shine on the next 17 days of campaigning.
