Thames

After a dreadful night's sleep (Angus in very late, Audrey awake, me awake blah blah) I got on a London train with a coffee and papers for a lovely peaceful Peppa Pig free train journey.

Met up with my friend at Euston and after checking in at our hotel (we are not messing about, we booked a gorgeous suite!) we went to see the amazing poppy installation at the Tower of London. They are filling the moat at the tower with over 800,000 ceramic poppies, one for every British soldier lost in the First World War. It looks stunning and very beautiful (sadly my pictures of it weren't as good as it actually looked if that makes sense!)

We then did a four hour walk down the river Thames back to our hotel. Probably a good job as we're about to head out for dinner and drinks tonight!

Angus is having a great day with Audrey playing in the park on her scooter and watching footie! Miss them both of course but it's nice to have a break from the merry-go-round of nappies, naps, parks and feeds!
