The RAF Red Arrows

Today we watched the Red Arrows who were using my local airport (Hawarden) as a base - they flew in from Bournemouth, had a refuel, went off to Rhyl air show, then came back for tea!

This is them coming back in - we had a cracking vantage point just off the runway, and they did a little display for the hundreds that were watching!

Fantastic, and no way should anyone ever mention disbanding them!

Yes, and I haven't missed one, only eight did this show one went "tech" on landing so didn't leave!!
