Cath is doing her best to keep her spirits up, but her weary face and audible sighs speak of just one thing. The summer holidays are over and school begins tomorrow.

Work begins again tomorrow for me too. With the ease of knowing I am not yet at the threshold, I am steeling myself with reminders about the plans I should make later today in readiness, and hearing key remarks like 'fresh start' and '1st of the month'.
