Swingers

After waving farewell to our friends (and house sitters), we eventually wandered into town to see what was going on for The Tall Ships.

At the risk of sounding Bah Humbuggy, it was all far too busy for my liking so we nipped into the library so Ally could join the summer reading challenge.

Onto the Prince of Wales Pier to see the ships themselves - sadly they were a bit lost in the jumble of masts of the boats already moored in the harbour. We then continued to the harbourside car park before it all became far too much so we headed home via a carousel and the Helter Skelter!

As part of Mum's holiday fit camp, we walked home but I did let her have a sit down at the park while the kids played!
