Vergelegen Estate

On our last morning before the flights to Johannesburg and then London we visited the Vergelegen Estate - a winery and gardens which was very pretty. We wandered the gardens which were gorgeous (although would have been prettier in summer when flowers were out more), went to some of the estate's buildings to learn about its history and had cake in one of its little restaurants. It was the perfect relaxed finish to our South African adventure.
