George goes to hospital

I sat up with George from 3am encouraging him to drink some water, but every mouthful came back at me with added bile so at 8am I phoned the emergency vet who told me to bring him in.
Poor George was very weak and severely dehydrated by then but had some blood taken and a drip put up, then I was sent home and more tests were done which proved negative.
I have worried all day and found it difficult to concentrate, and it's worse now I know that he is alone in the vet surgery overnight, but tomorrow morning more tests will commence, and I'm told not to phone until after 11am.
This was all very sudden and unexpected and luckily our vet speaks English and I know what he means when he speaks in medical terminology, but I'm quite shocked how fast we got to this stage. Hopefully tomorrow will see some improvement.
