Doorway

My guidebook said that just wandering around Cork was the best introduction. We took it at its word, although in addition to some wandering around we also had a leisurely lunch with a friend, with several bottles of beer brought into play. After lunch, we made our way back to the hotel, where I had a couple of meetings, and then we had the evening reception and chat, including out on the hotel terrace wrapped in blankets, fully engaged.

Full conference starts tomorrow morning.
