Sock friends

My best friend and I have a tradition of buying matching pairs of socks for each other. Started as a joke some years back but has been carried on with much gusto, and we gave a large collection of unusual and interesting socks between us now! These beauties are J's latest find- I am pretty amazed. Awesome!!
These socks were a special gift to celebrate this year's theatre society annual reunion. A small group of us who met through doing amateur theatre at Uni have stayed in touch, it is now 18 years since some of us first met. Lots of things have changed but luckily our friendship has stayed and I really love our get togethers.
This year it is also the first time I have spent a night ( let alone 2) away from little miss, so an exciting weekend.

We went for drinks with a couple of our friends who still live in our Uni town, ahead of tomorrow's reunion. Felt quite special to be back there.
