Phew *mops brow*

Well, that's it all over for another year: the Edinburgh Festival was officially closed with the now traditional classical music/firework show. And jolly fine it was too!

By a remarkable twist of fate I found myself on my meal break in a decent location to watch the squibs light up the sky. Forth FM's pathetic DJ, Grant Stott, did his best to ruin the radio broadcast, but the great live performance from the Scottish Chamber orchestra was sublime.
