Tentacles everywhere.

Well, spring has arrived and everything in the garden "springs to life." Please pardon the pun but there is no doubt the change of season is most welcome.
Decided to check out if anything of interest had developed in the garden over the winter period and came across this native Australian Grevillea shrub.
There are many varieties and they grow almost anyway in Australia but what is interesting with this one is the two tone colours and its tentacles protruding snake like from the flower.

Wonder if they are safe to touch.
