Oakham Buttercross

On our way down to Flopsies today we stopped off at Oakham in Rutland to stretch our legs & came across The Buttercross which dates from the 1600's and as the name suggests was where they sold dairy products.

Inside are a set of 5 holed stocks very rare combination apparently possibly for a five legged criminal!
