Whoops!

It was the monthly meeting of a retirement association of which I am a member today. The committee arrange a visiting speaker for each meeting and today it was Dr Felix Schmid of Birmingham University.

Moments before he was due to speak an errant member tripped over the cables and sent his laptop shooting across the floor. You've never seen so many technie people trying to bring it back to life. Well they did and we were treated to a a tour de force. Made all the more special by his very dry wit.
