Color Extravaganza

I went to a state park this morning in search of Eagles and Osprey. Unfortunately, none were to be found. At a nearby marsh, I did find some turtles, a frog, some dragon flies and a groundhog. I was going to settle for blipping the groundhog when I stumbled across this amazingly colorful grasshopper.

This picture was a little tough to get because the grasshopper was partially hidden behind some reeds. To get this picture , I had to grab the top of the reed that he was on and slowly pull it down (more than 90 degrees), hold, and aim/snap with the other hand.
