A Mug of Tea

The donkey is an iconic animal of Guernsey, traditionally used years ago in St Peter Port, because of the steepness of the streets. Nowadays Guernsey people are known as donkeys, in reference to their stubborn nature!

Mark is forever referring to me as a Guernsey Donkey! Stubborn? Maybe... but I would describe myself more as proud and intensely independent!

When I saw this mug in Guernsey, I knew I had to buy it. Apparently now Mark is only ever going to make me tea in this mug!
