Glasses

One can never have too many pairs of specs!

The ones at the back are the very fetching over-glasses safety glasses I've been wearing the last three years of uni. I don't like wearing contacts. The front pair are the glasses I normally wear everyday which prevent me from wearing regular safety specs.

In the middle are my super fancy prescription safety glasses which I wore today when I finally started some lab work! It was nice to get my hands on chemicals again and it didn't feel like I was still a skiving intern doing paperwork.

This evening I finally convinced myself I wanted to go for a run and I enjoyed a light jog up and down the Rhine. I'm not nearly as shattered after work as I have been during the first couple of weeks. My rent was also due today and my landlord likes to keep things simple and in cash so another element of my exercise regime was to run until I found a cash machine then I could go home!
