Monday: Historical Documents

I was feeling pretty blipless this afternoon.  It was windy and rainy today so I was disinclined to leave the office if I didn't have to.  

So imagine my delight when my colleague showed me these old records from 1948 that he found that he now has to return to headquarters.   When I first started work we also used to register papers in ledgers not dissimilar to these.  

I particularly like the entry about the passport being impounded by the Yugoslav authorities.  I wonder what you would have done about that in 1948.  

I like the handwriting.  Is it copperplate?
