I love my lunchtime walks. I phone Mam, Beloved and sometimes HRH, making sure everybody is well and safe and take some photos.
Today the bridge was up so I had to go along the Gateshead quay, which was all cordoned off for some event. Then I went over the swing bridge and couldn't get walk along the path because the event was on that side too. Then the Millennium bridge was all roped off as they were putting fireworks on it.
I even saw a cormorant get half way up the river and turn around.
