Labor Day hike

Feeling a little sorry for myself and the fact that I had no plans for the day, I took myself for a hike at Castle Rock State Park in Los Gatos. I took many beautiful panoramas of the foothills and path shots showing the bay laurel leaves that make hiking in California a multi sensory experience, but when I saw this kid stuck half way in and half out of a rock cave I knew this would be it. Moments later his dad popped his head out and asked for $5 for the privilege. His price had dropped to $2 by the time I walked away laughing.
