We stayed in this morning to wait for shopping. It was raining anyway so we played with duplo and I did a few bits that needed done. They had a long lunch and watched some telly and then Isaac fell asleep on me, way too late for nap time! I tried to wake him but he was out for the count. When he eventually woke it had stopped raining so we went for a walk to at least tire him a little before bedtime. Amelie found conkers even though it's a tad early for them. We found a few puddles to jump in but it's a bit warm and they were mostly gone. Isaac discovered he likes clean puddles but not the muddy ones that make his wellies yucky, he doesn't like those. Lucky for him his mummy loves him and he wiped them on my jeans. We had a play in the park and walked up into the field before seeing the dark clouds gathering and turning round to rush home! We lazed on the sofa cushions (a best of sorts!), they ate pizza for dinner and we watched charlottes web. Isaac was predictably late to bed (9.30!) but he was on good form so I forgave him. Today Amelie taught him to say carrot! And he was pointing out balls when we were out (he loves them!) and he said "bad dog" to the dog that was barking it's head off on the other side of the fence.

School countdown = 1 week to go! Agh! I'm so not ready for this...
