The Pig

A drive down to the New Forest today and lunch at this place, The Pig near Brockenhurst. It's a restaurant with rooms and comes highly recommended. Certainly lunch was a treat with a few extra courses more than we planned. Then it was down the road to High Cliff to call on my brother and his wife. It's always good to see family. Sadly there was no time or light left for a quick forage in the New Forest. The restaurant here has its own forager who goes out to collect food for the chefs. A lot of the recipes are pork-based and we tried quite a few.

Working late to help out a friend with a press release and our son George who is applying for jobs. He'll be a catch for somebody.
