Hawaii

A bit of Hawaii right here in Long Beach brought my daughter and me to the neighboring Performance Arts Center. The local Hawaiian population was hosting a three day festival of all things Hawaii. There was crafts, food and lots of souvenirs that represented the islands. This guy was heading through the hall on his way somewhere, trucking along with his custom engraved walking stick (which were also on sale at the festival) looking very Hawaiian in his printed shirt. There was not much color in the shot, it was amazing that all the shirts for sale at the festival were black, so I thought it looked more authentic in black and white.
