Into the Forest

Well, it's not really much of a forest. These are the tall Oregon Ash trees that are on the auto route in the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. A few more photos of our early evening foray can be seen on my Flickr photostream.. We saw a doe,(a deer, a female deer) and we saw a nutria, and some ducks, and hawks and in the distance some lovely egrets. Also the blue herons, of course. I did like how the scenery shots came out, which is why I am featuring this.
