Highway

This paddock is called highway and that is exactly what it's used as. This morning we headed out through highway to some of the older ewes to check on them. Once we were there we found one ewe with her lamb half sticking out but she had given up pushing. We caught her and I lambed her, I thought for sure that the lamb was dead but my tutor said to rub it's rib cage and sure enough he coughed and then after some more rubbing he kicked and breathed. It was amazing I felt like the best person in the word for that split second when his life hung in the balance.
