New pond

We have dug out one of the borders at the front of our patio and turned it into a pond. We've made a rivulet that runs from the new pond into the well-established pond below it and installed a pump. It has all worked out delightfully and I am so happy to at last have our little stream near the house. I love the sound of the water and the flow stops the duckweed clogging the surface. We have placed water plants in the new pond and they seem happy there.
