Our national soup?

Popped into our local pub/ restaurant this morning with Katie and Iain for a late breakfast/ morning coffee. I declined the 'soup' on offer as it was too early for soup , especially this kind :) The sign was, of course , just begging to be 'blipped'. I liked the artistry though I did wonder why we have acorns instead of grain.
