Eyes Bigger Than His Stomach

Nisqually - When I saw this guy from the boardwalk all I could see was a black blotch, looked like a mask so I thought it was some new type of seagull I hadn't seen before. When I cropped it I found it was a fish tail and what is probably a fin on the back side. (More visible in large). This is a huge fish. I watched the gull for quite a while and he didn't move at all. I guess he was contemplating how to get the rest down.
