Getting the vote out

Music and a loudspeaker, bouncy young people, a queue - a comic, a juggler, a sale? No, a voter registration drive in Buchanan Street. Today is the last day to register for THE vote.

Yes, there has been some shouting, yes, there has been some bad behaviour, yes, there has been some intolerance but people have been involved for once involved in the debate, in the politics and determined to have their say. And that is great. I'm pretty certain this was 'Yes Scotland' getting the vote out but I hope it encourages to continue to be involved, to participate, to have a say even after September.

I'm registered but I've rescinded my postal vote so that I can make my mind up and vote on the day. Not long now.
