Texture Tuesday

We were so lucky today to spot this Black Swan sitting on her nest, the male was close by pulling the reeds from the side of the water, refurbishments for the nest.
We were not quite so lucky as another " more professional" photographer with his long zoom lens camera around his neck, he was chatting with Glyn and I and showed us his shots, he told us "the Swan was sitting on 5 eggs and one of her chicks had hatched 30min. Prior" then she sat back down and wasn't budging, we couldn't wait any longer we had an appointment to go to, this image made my day though..
