Archaeological specimen?
OK so you might take a moment to get orientated on this macro...
...yes it is a tooth. Hope you are not squeamish - if so, don't read on.
Why did I blip it? Well I had to visit the dentist today for a mild toothache...fortunately nothing serious, just a previous filling which apparently is rather near to a nerve. Best to leave it unless it gets worse. (So this blip is not today's offending tooth.)
So I thought, "Could I do an appropriate blip?". Then I remembered that when I had 4 teeth extracted (to make room for others to appear) when I was about 13 (lots of years ago) I kept the teeth (is that weird or what?!) - maybe the tooth fairy was kind and gave them back to me, I don't remember. This is one of them. I note that dentists of that era were rather keener than nowadays on shoving amalgam in every tiny crevice!
I thought it looked a bit less daunting in mono.
You can view large - but only if you dare!
