Repairs

Today, amongst other things Victoria and I erected Mrs GOG’s bird table. The old one needed a new top, especially as the builders uprooted it and threw it in the pond. Some while ago, in readiness to repair the old bird table, I had purchased a new plastic tray so it was just a matter of making some holes in the corners to allow water to drain away, before placing it back on its post and back in the border.

Today’s picture was taken by Mrs GOG and shows us knocking the post into the ground. Mrs GOG and Victoria then cleared this end of the border, which had become overgrown despite being cleared some four or five weeks ago.
