The Kelpies

My hotel was great - an early night, a good night's sleep and a great breakfast.

Traveled over to see the Kelpies. They are magnificent! I spent some time taking photos and then went on the guided tour. Fascinating information about their construction and also the folklore. The Kelpie on the left is called Duke and on the right is Baron. The tour includes going inside Duke and it is great to be able to see the structure.

I had a little walk around the Helix park and then headed on on the next part of my journey. The sky was grey around the Kelpies but as I headed North into Perthshire the sun came out. I am staying with ANewDay and we have planned a good couple of days out.
