Well, my first blip for a while.

In between, I've been to Edinburgh and met with Lali briefly - as well as spending some quality time with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson who were all up there for the entire Fringe festival (a bit longer actually). Didn't manage to meet any other lovely Scottish blippers - owing to my laziness regarding communications.

Must try not to leave it so long before visiting again - it's a lovely city. Also went to an Anniversary party near Newcastle on the way back.

Next up later in September is a trip to Denmark!

Why the Elephant? Well we are just about to commit to 2 weeks in Africa next Autumn - to see Gorillas and the big plains animals. So excited!!

All this is going to cost a packet and is eating big into my retirement fund. But hey, I figure you have to do these things while you are still able. Carpe Diem and all that.
