Something wicked this way scuttles

Do you know what the worst thing in the world is? It is a task which needs repeating several times and which is too difficult to be mechanical but not difficult enough to be interesting. After three or four repetitions, I could tear my own eyes out and poke my brain with a biro.

Do you know what the most annoying thing in the world is? No, it's not the woman in the Range Rover who pulls out in front of you forcing you to stop on the roundabout whilst she drives her lorry-sized car past you. Although she does come close. No, it's the man in the Skoda Yeti who, half a mile later, pulls out in front of you on the dual carriageway forcing you to brake very rapidly from 70mph to 20mph just so he doesn't have to wait another 5 seconds for you to drive past him.

Do you know what the funniest thing in the world is? It's a man driving a Skoda Yeti who has just cut someone up and who, 500 metres later, finds himself next to his victim at one of Milton Keynes' many roundabouts and who resolutely refuses to do anything but stare straight ahead whilst the disgruntled driver of the car with the very hot brakes looks straight at him with a hard stare of which Paddington would be proud. I imagine that this was one of the longest 30 seconds in this man's life.
